Step 1: Think & share
When I was a little girl, I loved making paper chains. My daughter Lily made paper chains out of red & green wrapping paper. She made it so long it went all around our Christmas tree with loops left over. She strung it over our lanai door. It kept her busy and quiet for a long time. =)
Lily's chain was a decoration. You can make a COUNTDOWN chain to countdown to a BIG event. You count how many days away your birthday or Christmas or New Years is and that's how many loops you make. Choose an event YOU want to count down to. Mrs. Colte chose Christmas. Mrs. Petry might choose Hanukkah or New Years. What will you count down to? Step 2: Listen to a story or twoStep 3: Make YOUR paper chain & your binary bracelet

Binary Bracelet
Binary is a way of representing information.
Computers only read "off" and "on." This is called binary. Use the binary decoder below to write out the first letter of your name.
Step 4: Share your paper chain & your binary bracelet!
Post a picture of your paper chain or record a video where you tell us about your creation. Log into the Flipgrid with your Inouye account OR use the password dkies2020
